The DFW Adobe User Group is proud to announce Andy Rutledge as our guest speaker on Sat, Nov 11th!

Andy is the Creative Director at Net Success, an interactive agency in Dallas:

Andy is a Web Designer, Graphic Designer and Information Architect with a background in fine art and composition. His specific interests lie with effective communication and professional practice; doing consequential work for people and institutions that desperately need to communicate something to a specific audience – and doing so in a professional manner.

In his own words, Andy's presentation will entail the following:

Times change and so do technology and our required utilization of it. I’ll be talking about Web standards and our respective responsibilities in the context of evolving technologies on the Web.

I’ll touch on what “Web standards” means and how these standards affect or work and the experience of the online consumers of our work. After all, we do our work not for ourselves, but for everyone else.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I'm looking forward to seeing everyone at our second meeting, and refreshments will be made available.

Just an FYI - we will not be having a meeting in December due to the Holidays, but we will meet again in January.

Many thanks for all your continued support, and all the best -

As an added bonus I'll be doing a short presentation on taking your photos from camera to Photoshop via the Bridge. We'll take a look at some of the power and features available in Bridge. Bridge was introduced in CS2 and it isn't just File Browser.... It's a whole lot more!
