12/08/2007 UPDATE - Adobe released update 1.3.1. for Lightroom which addresses Print module issues with Leopard.
Back in November I wrote a quick post suggesting Adobe CS3 users hold off on upgrading to Mac OS X Leopard. Today, I want to reiterate that post specifically for Lightroom users. The current issue with Leopard is not so much Adobe compatibility (although the Lightroom 1.3 update helped), but driver support. Specifically, print drivers are a problem, and if you do a lot of printing from Lightroom upgrading to Leopard will halt that capability.
I think both Apple & Microsoft have done a decent job with their respective OS upgrades, but I am surprised at what I see as reduced vendor support. As a consumer, I do not want to upgrade on either platform if it breaks my existing production environment.
