AIR for Linux

As part of the AIR prerelease program, Adobe has finally given Linux users a version of the Adobe Integrated Runtime to call their own. I would assume that this will be made available to the general public very soon.

Since we had such a small turnout we didn't cover all the basics of Photoshop CS3 as originally planned. Instead we looked at a few new features and some tips.

Apple Releases Aperture 2.0

Apple, feeling the mounting pressure from Adobe, has released its latest upgrade to Aperture. Now at 2.0, Apple says it has added many new features and addressed the well acknowledged sluggishness of its photography workflow software. The new features fall into several categories:

Flex Users Group Update

I attended last night's Flex user's group meeting.  Gene and Fincanon were also there.  I found it very enlightening.  They spoke about the latest news in regards to Flex 3 and AIR.  I'll post some specific highlights soon. In the meantime, check out  D-Flex.

Intro to Photoshop CS3

Join us on February 16th at 11 am Central for our first online meeting to explore Photoshop CS3. This will be an overview for those not very familiar with Photoshop. We'll also include some useful tips and tricks!
